(2013, 11:15, digital video / sound)
In Writing Upside Down, a recurring series of images serves as the starting point for reflection on education, the global economy, weightlessness, the future of writing, and the Otis Elevator Company. The video uses cell phone video and audio stabilized in post-production, connecting themes discussed in the voice over with the technical as well as mental “processing” of images.
The project also consists of fourteen ink jet prints (8in x 10in each) with handwritten text.
